GENERAL INFORMATION
WHAT IS SALSA
- The word "Salsa" Is a Spanish word that has recently come into common usage in the American English language. Literally translated it means "Sauce". In English we use numerous modifiers or ajectives to clarify what kind of sauce is being referred to. Examples are; smooth, hot, cold, sweet, chunky, spicy, creamy, light, hearty, etc. In the United States however,"Salsa" has acquired, through common usage, the connotation of a "Salsa Fresca"; a crude, raw uncooked-ingredient sauce usually served cold or at room temperature, the main ingredients being tomatoes, chiles and onions.
- There are in reality numerous types of "Salsas" being used and experimented with and this document will investigate all explain all those listed below.
